We love to celebrate special occasions and this Allergy Friendly Icepop Party is our new favorite way to throw a party. You can make an Icepop your way and there’s something for everyone!
My girls get out of school this week. They love ending the school year with a party with their closest friends. This year, the friends invited have multiple food allergies. My girls are free from gluten, dairy, and peanuts and some of their friends are allergic to tree nuts, eggs, and dairy. With so many food allergies to accommodate, you would think that it would be too tricky to pull off a food allergy friendly party right? Well, it’s not as hard as it seems.
This year we opted to throw a Allergy Friendly Icepop Party where guests (and hostess’s) can enjoy an allergen free icepop dipped in chocolate and/or topped with delicious toppings. Once you have everything set up, it’s a party that will run itself and your guests will have fun dipping, decorating, and enjoying their treats.
My family loves Enjoy Life Foods products. They’re free from the top eight food allergens and they process all their products in a dedicated facility. We used their products for our Icepop party so we could ensure the safety of all of our guests.
Here’s what you need for this Icepop party:
- Rice Milk
- Gluten-Free Vanilla Extract
- Sea Salt
- Maple Syrup
- Vegetable Oil
- 1 bag Enjoy Life Mega Chunks
- 1 box Enjoy Life Double Chocolate Cookies, crushed
- 5 Enjoy Life boomCHOCOboom bars
- 1 bag Enjoy Life Mountain Mambo Nut-Free Seed & Fruit Mix
- 1 bag Enjoy Life Beach Bash Mix Nut-Free Seed & Fruit Mix
- 1 bag Enjoy Life Mini Chips
- 1 box Enjoy Life Honey Graham Cookies, crushed
- 1 box Enjoy Life Chocolate Chip Cookies, crushed
- 2 six-serving ice pop molds
- Medium Sauce Pan
- Measuring cups and spoons (dry and liquid)
- Double Boiler
- Five small bowls for the toppings
Make Icepops (recipes below). You will want to make your Iceepops the night before so they have plenty of time to harden.
Set out all your toppings.
I put all the toppings in matching bowls and made sure the spoons were nearby.

Next, break up the boomCHOCOboom bars, and melt them along with 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil in your double boiler. If you don’t have a double boiler, melt them in a microwave safe bowl for 30 seconds at a time until they are melted. Let the chocolate cool for 5 minutes before dipping.
Have your guests pick a Icepop and line up. Dip each Icepop, one at a time, into the melted chocolate. Cover 1/4 to 1/2 the Icepop.
After the Icepop has been dipped, spoon the toppings of choice over the melted chocolate. Work fast as the cold from the Iceepop hardens the chocolate.
Clean up should be fairly easy as you and your guests will eat most of what’s out. Afterwards you will only have a couple of bowls, spoons, and the pan to wash (or put in the dishwasher if they are dishwasher safe). Don’t you love easy parties? I do.
I have two recipes below to offer more variety for guests. One is for Fudge Icepops and the other for Cookies & Cream Icepop’s. Both recipes make six Icepop’s each. You can double or triple the batch if you are having a larger party.
