Take your dish to the next level with this Creamy Chimichurri Sauce. Who would’ve ever thought that a sauce this healthy could be THIS good.

My husband and I have been trying to eat cleaner the past few weeks. We’ve been listening to Paleo Podcasts, searching out Paleo recipes, and looking for Paleo friendly products to add to our grocery list.
Paleo, if done right, is a healthy diet in our opinions. One of the things we struggle with when looking for recipes is finding recipes that are bursting with flavor.
When you hear about Paleo, you usually hear that you need to eat meat, fruit, veggies, etc. It doesn’t sound that exciting, because you don’t always hear about how amazing those food groups can be if you add the right flavors, spices, and condiments.
Some people plop a steak, some fried plantains, and a salad on a plate. While that dish might be Paleo, if you don’t add the right flavors, it will also be boring. That’s where this Creamy Chimichurri Sauce comes into play.
We love using fresh herbs in our dishes. Some of our favorite flavors are mustard, cumin, vinegar, cilantro, parsley, and lime.
Knowing that we love strong flavors, we decided to make a universal sauce that works with most fish, beef, chicken, and pork dishes.
Creamy Chimichurri Sauce!
Why did we make it creamy? Well, regular Chimichurri is pretty amazing on its own, but creamy Chimichurri adds a subset of flavors that makes it even more versatile.
We put Creamy Chimichurri on our fish tacos (pictured above) and LOVED every single bite.
It is hands down the best sauce for fish tacos. We’ve also served it on steak, chicken skewers, and don’t even get me started on lamb. It’s a perfect match.
I wanted to keep this Chimichurri Sauce Paleo, so we used our new favorite Paleo Mayo – Chosen Foods Avocado Oil Mayo.
My family loves the smooth and creamy texture of Chosen Foods Avocado Oil Mayo, and I love that it fits into our Paleo meals. It works really well in other sauces, and dishes, like my Gluten-Free Bacon Tomato Cups and Sausage & Shrimp Appetizer with Sriracha Mayo.
We love that Chosen Foods Avocado Oil Mayo is made with pure avocado oil instead of genetically modified, industrial seed oils like soy, corn & canola. It tastes great and is Non-GMO and made with cage free eggs. Yes!
Do we eat Paleo all the time? No. We try to stick to Paleo meals and snacks six days a week, with one day off – just to switch it up. We listen to our bodies, and enjoy non-paleo treats (but still gluten-free) every so often.
