Peanut Butter Fudge Recipe
If you love peanut butter and you love treats with peanut butter you're going to want to make this easy peanut butter fudge. There are five ingredients in this recipe if you count the salt.
This fudge only takes one bowl to make.
You can dress this fudge up a bit by adding in chopped nuts, pressing white chocolate chips or sprinkles on top, or sprinkling a little sea salt on top.
You can also wrap individual pieces and give them away as holiday gifts.

How to make peanut butter fudge on a stove top:
In a medium sauce pan, melt peanut butter and butter together over medium heat. Add in vanilla and salt and stir until combined.
Add in powdered sugar and stir until combined. Follow the remaining steps above for setting the fudge.
Can you freeze fudge?
Yes, most fudge recipes freeze well. You can freeze this peanut butter fudge in a sealed container for up to three months but I doubt it will last that long.
Can I use homemade peanut butter to make peanut butter fudge?
I don't typically recommend homemade peanut butter when making peanut butter fudge as it tends to have more oil and be runnier.
If you have thick homemade peanut butter go ahead and give it a try, otherwise use store bought peanut butter.
Dairy-free Peanut Butter Fudge
Use dairy-free butter to make this peanut butter fudge dairy-free. We've used earth balance butter spread with success.
Peanut Butter
Peanut butter is naturally gluten free but you'll want to check labels to double check as brands can change their ingredients.
Most peanut butter brands also add sugar. You can use a peanut butter with sugar, or a no-added sugar peanut butter in this peanut butter fudge recipe.
If you love peanut butter treats you'll want to make my Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies. My Flourless Peanut Butter Blossoms are also easy to make.
