These gluten-free, dairy-free Magic S’more Bars are a delectable grown up version of traditional campfire s’mores and are sure to satisfy any craving you may have for the delicious combinations of graham crackers, chocolate, and marshmallows.
Whoever said marshmallows should only be roasted over an open fire never had a craving for S’mores when it was only 30 degrees outside. Sure, I could bundle up and possibly stay warm by the fire (well, at least the side facing the flames).
But why not stay inside in my pajama bottoms with my slippers and tea – and still have a roasted marshmallow on my s’more?
I don’t like to complicate things any more than I have to, so if I don’t NEED a fire to have a s’more, why make one?
Don’t get me wrong. I love to camp and I love hanging out by the fire pit. I just don’t want to sit by the fire every time I want a roasted marshmallow or a s’more.
There are many ways to enjoy a s’more, and although they are not all the traditional campfire ways, they are still delicious. It doesn’t matter what it looks like when you are eating it, it only matters what it taste’s like. Right?
Last summer I made cute little Mini S’mores Cups. They look nothing like a s’more, but they sure tasted like one and they were super simple to make.
These gluten-free Magic S’mores Bars are AMAZING! No, seriously… they will melt in your mouth.
You are going to savor the delightful flavors of a chocolate mock graham cracker crust, ooey-gooey dairy-free sweetened condensed milk, dark chocolate morsel’s, and sticky roasted marshmallows. Yummm, deee-lish!
When we first made these bars my girls and I finished a quarter of the pan in less than ten minutes.
I knew these were super dangerous to keep in the house so I sent the rest to a friends house.
My family loved them a little too much so I vowed to only make them when company was coming over so we didn’t end up in a s’mores-bar-comma.
They make a super sweet party treat or after dinner dessert, so definitely save this recipe if you have guests coming over.
A note about the hand model pictured above: My youngest daughter is the hand model.
I wish you guys could have seen her face when I asked her if she would be my model.
She grinned form ear to ear. Too cute, and she definitely liked the s’mores bar she got to eat as payment.
