Will Bob's Red Mill 1:1 Flour work with this recipe?
Wendy Stoltz
Hi KB,
I have not tried it. I have used the Bob's Red Mill all-purpose flour not the baking flour. So the texture and taste of your pizza base may be slightly different than if you had used plain flour.
KB
Thanks! And what size round baking dish did you use?
Wendy Stoltz
It should be 9-10 inches in diameter and 1-2 inches high.
Julio Di Filippo
Is your gluten free blend of rice flour tapioca potato starch and almond considered a plain flour?
Wendy Stoltz
Hi Julio,
For this recipe, you need to use gluten-free all-purpose flour. Almond flour has a different texture and consistency than all-purpose flour. Adjustments may need to be made to the recipe if you use that blend as almond flour absorbs more liquid.
