Vegan Chocolate Pudding Recipe
It’s hard to find a good vegan pudding mix at the store and the ones I have found have been expensive.
Once I learned how easy it was to make pudding from-scratch I stopped buying store-bought pudding.
Did you know there are only 5 ingredients in this vegan chocolate pudding recipe?
Vegan Pudding
This Vegan Chocolate Pudding is meant to be served chilled, but it's also tasty warm served over chocolate cake. Please don't ask me how I know that (wink).
I love adding a dollop of dairy-free whipped cream and dark chocolate shavings to the top.
A sprinkle of a cinnamon gives this pudding the perfect finish.
My whole family loves this Vegan Chocolate Pudding, and you'll love it too. Especially when you see how simple it is to make.
Ingredients in Vegan Chocolate Pudding
Sugar – Use granulated sugar. I haven’t tested this recipe with sugar alternatives.
Cocoa - For an extra rich chocolate touch.
Cornstarch – This helps thicken the gluten free pudding. If you can’t have cornstarch you can use tapioca starch.
Dairy-Free Milk – We use almond milk.
Dairy-Free Chocolate Chips – Make sure your chocolate chips are dairy-free. We like to use Enjoy Life Foods Chocolate Chips.
Vanilla Extract – Use high-quality vanilla extract for the best results.
