Enjoy a simple, quick, and Spicy Tartar Sauce with a tang that is out of this world! Once you go spicy, you’ll never go back. Don’t worry, it’s not fire-breathing spicy, it’s just a small added kick to a traditional recipe.

We are huge fans of seafood and tartar sauce in our house. We love to dip everything from fries to fish sticks in Tartar Sauce.
Tartar Sauce doesn’t have to be unhealthy. With the right ingredients, and five minutes, you will have a tasty sauce that you can dip into, guilt free.
You’ve probably heard the health benefits of coconut oil. What if I told you that Chosen Foods makes a Coconut Oil Mayo?
I know what you’re probably thinking – it tastes like coconut. Actually, it doesn’t. I was prepared to taste coconut when I dipped into it but was pleasantly surprised that I couldn’t taste any coconut.
The Chosen Foods Coconut Mayo was tangy, just the way I like my mayonnaise.
My husband has been asking me to make fish for a few weeks now. As soon as I tasted the Chosen Foods Coconut Oil Mayo, I knew I wanted to make Spicy Tartar Sauce using spicy pickles. If you’ve ever had a spicy pickle, it’s not actually THAT spicy. There’s just a little kick at the end, and you only use a couple of small pickles. Even my kids ate it (and I didn’t use the word spicy in their presence).

My family not only loved the Spicy Tartar Sauce, they asked if we could switch to the Chosen Foods Coconut Oil Mayo (not making this up). Since trying it, we’ve made BLTs with it – it’s perfect with bacon – and we’ve made turkey avocado sandwiches with it.
Just writing this post makes me want to jump up and make a sandwich.
The other thing I’ve done with it is mix a few tablespoons with tuna and eat it with fresh avocado. The combination of flavors is fantastic.
I hope you’ll give the mayo (and this recipe) a try. If you do, please come back and let me know what you think of the Coconut Oil Mayo!
