Gluten-Free S’mores are an all time classic treat that usually involves an open campfire, chocolate, marshmallows, and graham crackers.
While roasting marshmallows over an open fire is fun, it’s not something you can do year round in Oregon.
It rains quite a bit in Oregon, and sometimes it rains hard enough that it’s hard to keep a campfire going no matter how hot you start it.
My family and I love S’mores and have found other ways to enjoy the combination of ingredients without having to worry about the weather.
We recently started coming up with new, fun way to make S’mores using our oven. Our latest creation involves cinnamon baked crackers and pretzels for an extra crunchy and salty twist. The cinnamon cracker crust, smooth chocolate, crunchy pretzel sticks, and fluffy marshmallow topping will leave you reaching for seconds.

So far we have made these Gluten-Free S’mores Pretzel Bars at least once a week. While my family is still enjoying them, I had to remind them that we have other recipes to make and we can’t possible eat S’mores every day (right?).
We’ve been camping a lot lately, and between the homemade S’mores Pretzel Bars at home, and the traditional fireside s’mores around the campfire, my girls have probably eaten enough chocolate and marshmallows to last a lifetime.
